In one episode, the characters are visited by the father of one of Jaden's roommates (the one with koala-themed cards), in the original version he owned a brewery. And there was a deck with this theme, the characters on the cards were dizzy with the drink, one move was him knocking over a table in an allusion to bar fights, and a card that removed the hit points was the stench of beer. The changes in the united states of america were all being painted red and being told he's from a hot sauce factory, and it all boiled down to pepper in his letters, although that seemed odd.
