World War Z is an American action movie directed by Marc Forster that is loosely based on the book of the same name. The movie was released in June 21, 2013 by Paramount Pictures. The movie was banned in China. The theatrical cut of the film was censored due to the Paramount Pictures wanting the movie to appeal to teens. The theatrical cut toned down the violence, digitally removed blood and cut some scenes in order to reduce the runtime.
