Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is an action role playing game that was developed by Troika Games and published by Activision. The video game was released on November 16, 2004. The game was censored in Germany in order to get a 16 rating, and Steam only sells that censored version.

Censorship[]

Germany censorship[]

  • The scene in the intro that shows a vampire getting beheaded was cut.
  • The scene that shows the beheaded vampire burning was modified in the censored version. In the censored version the flames were made brighter making it harder to see her body burning.

International censorship[]

  • Steam only sells the version based on the German one.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The unofficial patch is uncensored, and GOG sells the uncensored version.
