Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization is a Japanese game that was developed by Aquaria and released on October 27, 2016. The game's day one patch in Japan censored the bathing scene, resulting in some sexuality being toned down for the Japanese release.

- The scene that shows Kazuto and Kizmel in the hot spring together, bathing was modified for the Japanese release due to possible violations of CERO's rating guidelines. In the Japanese version the towel around Kazuto's waist was changed to a bathing suit and Kizmel is now wearing one as well. However, the CERO rating was unchanged. The European release was also censored.
European censorship[]
- The scene that shows Silica holding a plate with a dumpling on it was modified for the European release. In the European version she is wearing a bunny outfit, this outfit gives her tights, while in the uncensored version she isn't wearing any.
