Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a Star Wars animated cartoon that was produced by Lucasfilm and aired on Cartoon Network for the first six seasons. Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm caused it to be cancelled until it was revived for a seventh and final season on Disney+. Some of the seasons that aired on Cartoon Network were censored due to the amount of violence in the show.

Season 1

• Episode 5 (Rookies)
  1. During the replay of the episode on November 7, 2008, before "Downfall of a Droid" premiered, the word "Hell" was censored twice.

Season 3

• Episode 2 (ARC Troopers)
  1. The scene that shows Ventress force choking a Arc Trooper and forcing him to be impaled with her lightsaber while kissing him was modified for the Cartoon Network broadcast. In the Cartoon Network version she no longer kisses him and the lightsaber no longer impales him instead in only leaves a laser burn on the back of his chest although an alternate angle of the said scene was also revealed due to Ventress no longer kissing him.

Season 4

• Episode 10 (Carnage of Krell)
  1. The scene that shows Krell impaling one of the Clone Troopers was cut.
  2. The scene that shows the Clone Troopers circling around Krell was modified for the Cartoon Network broadcast. In the uncensored version Krell is impaling a Clone Trooper. In the censored version the clone trooper was digitally removed and the sound effect for the impalement was also cut.

• Episode 13 (Escape from Kadavo)
  1. The scene that shows Anakin impaling the person at the turret's control panel was cut.

• Episode 19 (Massacre)
  1. The scene that shows General Grievous impaling the night queen with his lightsaber was modified for the Cartoon Network broadcast. In the Cartoon Network version the camera zooms in on her face as a result the impalement is now cut.

• Episode 20 (Bounty)
  1. The scene that shows a wider view while Ventress impaling the bar patron with her lightsaber was cut.
  2. The scene that shows back of the alien on the train after one of the electric knives hits him was cut.

Season 5

• Episode 14 (Eminence)
  1. The scene that shows the aftermath of Savage Opress's attack was cut. As a result you no longer see the bodies falling over without their heads.

• Episode 15 (Shades of Reason)
  1. The scene that shows a overhead view of Pre Vizsla's dead body was cut.

  1. The word "Hell" was censored, although only once, unlike the Cartoon Network version.

• Episode 2 (A Distant Echo)
  1. The scene that shows a Sexy Padme as nose art on the Bad Batches shuttle was cut even though this scene was in the unfinished story reel (but was cut from the finished episode).

• Episode 3 (On the Wings of Keeradaks)
  1. The scene that shows the Techno Union's leader deciding to test this new droid on a alien captive was cut albeit this scene was in the unfinished story reel (but was cut from the finished episode).
