Sonic the Hedgehog's Game World is a educational video game developed and published by Sega and Sonic Team. The game was released in 1994 in Japan and 1996 in North America. A European release made it in January 12, 2000. When Sega was developing the Western release, fortune telling, gambling, casino, 7 levels and rock, paper, scissors were censored or removed.

International Censorship[]

  • The fortune telling levels were removed.
  • One minigame had it's background completely removed in the International release. It was originally casino themed.
  • The rock, paper, scissors stages were removed.
  • Several stages had been removed due to unknown reasons.
  • The scene where Sonic says "Hi! Welcome to Sonic the Hedgehog's Game World!" it was changed to "Hi! Welcome to my Game World!"

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Japanese release is uncensored.
