- The scene that shows a statue of Mary holding the baby Jesus was modified for the International release. In the International release Jesus was digitally removed, and Mary's arms are at her side.
- Any references to Yuan's crossdressing and his relationship with Dou Niu were modified for the International release (which made him a female character, with a female voice actor in the English-language dub).
