SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle is a tactical shooting video game that was developed by Sierra Northwest and published by Sierra Studio. The video game was released on November 30, 1999. Due to the game targeting a USK 16 rating in Germany the game had to be censored for the German release.

- Damage textures on dead bodies were removed.
- Pools of blood were removed.
- Rats no longer explode into a cloud of blood when shot.
- You can no longer shot allies.
- You can no longer kill arrested enemies or injured enemies.
- Hostages can't be killed or harmed.
