Off the Air

Off the air is a Late-night anthology show created by Adult Swim. Some episodes had the clips within them censored for strong language, nudity, and copyrighted content.

Season One

• Animals
  1. The closing credits was edited from “Zodiac Shit" to "Zodiac Animals".
  2. In later airings and the Adult Swim website upload, the whole episode is significantly darkened to reduce the chance of seizures.

• Food
  1. The scene that shows a man taking a chunk off of a rubix cube was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the adult swim version the logo on the rubix cube was blurred out.
  2. The scene that shows a man from the "We want Your soul" video stripping naked and running into the ocean was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the adult swim version a glass effect was put over his bare bottom.
  3. The scene that shows footage of the "Heinz Automato" was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the heinz label on the ketchup bottle was blurred out. The motivational sign in the background also had it's text blurred out. This ended up retaining the text say "Potential. Not everyone gets to be an astronaut when they grow up."

• Dance
  1. The scene that Shows Tank9 Dancing in a shopping mall was modified. in the Adult Swim version the names of business, their respective logos, various packaging, license plates, and faces outside of tank9's were blurred out.

• Body
  1. The scene that shows a clip of "Going to the store" was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the phone number in the HELP WANTED sign in the background was blurred out.
  2. The scene that shows a clip of "Going to the store" was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the license plates on the cars in the parking lot was blurred out.
  3. The scene that shows a clip of Chriddof's "Sossidge Arms" was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the music used in the original clip was replaced with stock music.

Season Two

• Falling
  1. The scene that shows the green man falling down a cliff was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version a speed up was added into the green man’s genitals.

• Color
  1. The scene that shows a woman firing a shotgun at a river was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the music used in the original clip was replaced with stock music.
  2. Every scene from the “Yung Jake” video had the “Bulls” part of his basketball shirt pixelated.
  3. The scene that shows Yung Jake moving left and right to reveal a painting, which then morphs into a dump.fm page scrolling down was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the left side of the screen had a ripple effect applied to it, as a result you can no longer clearly see said images which causes the only vague shapes that resemble the image.
  4. The scene that shows the dump.fm page scrolling down further to gifs of the fresh prince of Bel-air was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version two extra datamoshes were added to obscure the images.
  5. The scene that shows Yung Jake putting an image of Justin Bieber onto his face via datamosh was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the image he used to put on his face was changed from an actual Justin Bieber video to a stock photo of a bieber-ish teen.
  6. The scene that shows Yung Jake at his computer was replaced with a different footage from later in the music video, due to the fact that the internet explorer logo was clearly visible in the background.
  7. Said footage from later in the music video also had the datamosh into a first person shooter cut out for copyright reasons.
  8. The scene has Yung Jake say “I don’t give a fuck though, I don’t give a shit.” “Fuck” and “Shit” are bleeped out.
  9. The scene that shows Yung Jake putting an image of a woman on his hand and moving it was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the NBA logo on his jersey was pixelated.
  10. The scene that shows Yung Jake putting an image of a woman on his hand and moving it via datamosh was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Image of the woman was changed to a stock photo.
  11. The scene that shows Yung Jake putting tattoos on himself via datamosh was was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the image of the gangsters in the background were blurred out.
  12. The scene that shows Yung Jake increasing the video quality of YouTube (with the video being a stock photo of a ladybug on a clover) was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the left side of the stock photo had a different ladybug on a clover digitally inserted over the video.
  13. The scene that shows Yung Jake sipping on a cup with two women was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the clip was replaced with a similar looking clip later in the video due to the copyright-unfriendly footage in the background.
  14. Said footage from later in the music video also had the cup pixelated and the faces of the women around Yung Jake had a warped effect applied to them.
  15. The scene that shows a charmander with a hat photo-shopped on was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version It was replaced with a clip from later in the video.
  16. The scene where Yung Jake says “I’m on my web, shit ya heard me.” “Shit” was bleeped out.

• Nightmares
  1. The scene that shows a nude woman being projected onto a man driving from the “Plaster casts Of Everything” video was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the woman’s breasts are pixelated

• Light
  1. The shot of the smog station in the “Light” short was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the phone number on a sign was blurred.
  2. The shot of the car dealership in the “Light” short was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the sign reading “BUERGE, CHRYSLER, JEEP” was blurred out.
  3. The shot of the mattress store bleeding lights was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the neon sign reading “Beautyrest” was blurred.
  4. The shot of the lighting store bleeding lights was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the sign reading “IMPERIAL CRYSTAL LIGHTING” was blurred out.

Season Three

• Nature
  1. The scene that shows the rabbit defecating on the bear’s head and him wiping it off his face was cut.
• Robots
  1. The scene that shows a clip of KOKOFREAKBEAN’S “God Knox” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the image of some celebrity had an image of a snow monkey superimposed over her face, as a result you could no longer recognize that it was them.
  2. The scene that shows two chatbots on TVs talking to each other was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Dell and Samsung logos on the TVs were digitally removed.
  3. The scene that shows two chatbots on TVs talking to each other was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the book that one of the TV’s was standing on had the writer’s name and the logo of the book label digitally removed. The text was also changed from “Artificial intelligence: A modern approach” to “Artelligence: A Mooch”
• Worship
  1. The scene that shows a clip of “Jesus Pwned U” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version replacement music is used.
  2. The scene that shows a kid hitting a ball with a tennis racket was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the logo on the tennis racket is blurred.
  3. The scene that shows the monument of an arch with a coca-cola machine underneath it was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version there is bloom added to the coca-cola machine. As a result, one can no longer see the coca-cola logo.
  4. The scene that shows the monument of an arch with a coca-cola machine underneath it being flooded at night was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the coca-cola machine is pixelated.

Season Four

• Hair
  1. The scene that shows Matthew Silver talking to a camera was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version a blurry glow effect was added around Matthew's head to obscure the faces of people in the background
• Sports
  1. The scene that shows a wake-skater diving into a bog was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Nike logos on his shoes and pants were pixelated.
• Transportation
  1. The scene that shows two people flopping around on the sidewalk was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the license plate on a car to the side was covered up with a fake one reading “SPC GHST”.
  2. The scene that shows a figure being sawed in half with a gear was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Ramones logo was digitally removed from his shirt.

Season Five

• Liquid
  1. The scene that shows the wool man sticking his head in the shopping cart was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the store sign reading “Fine Wine & Good Spirits: Premium Collection” was blurred out.
  2. The scene that shows the wool man absorbed in the shopping cart was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Family Dollar logo in the background was blurred out.
  3. The scene that shows that kayakers sliding down the drainage ditch cart was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version all the decals on the kayak, helmet and paddles were blurred out.
  4. The scene where one of the kayakers says “That was fucking fast!” was cut out and replaced with audio from later in the clip.
• Conflict
  1. The scene that shows three people fighting in a bar was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Budweiser logo on a light over a pool table was blurred.
  2. The scene that includes the lyrics “Treat these N*ggas like my hoes and put my dick all in they mouth” “N*gga” and “Dick” are bleeped out.
  3. The scene where the Prokaryote says “I just want to walk around I can’t even bend my fucking-” was edited by removing the word “fucking”.
  4. The scene where somebody looks up “how to be a real metal-head” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the google logo was digitally removed from the screen.
  5. In the credits the clip "31 Ways To Say Fuck Off" is credited as "31 Ways To Say F#@k Off”.
  6. The scene where Adam and Eve are shown giving the middle finger was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version Eve’s nipples were digitally removed from her breasts.
• NEWNOW
  1. The scene that shows two people in gillie suits one wheel-ing through a shopping mall was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version a person’s face in the background and the sign on a store were pixelated.

Season Six

• Shapes
  1. The scene that shows a zelda cartridge being put inside an NES was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the label on the cartridge is blurred.
  2. The scene that shows a claymation recreation of the legend of zelda title screen was cut.
  3. The scene that shows the three guys getting sucked into the television was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the transformers logo on a poster on the wall was blurred.
• Clowns
  1. The scene that shows a man standing next to a bike was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version a wavy effect is added into the man’s face.
• Work
  1. The scene that shows a man signalling a crane was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the labels on the cranes (Komatsu, Hitachi) were blurred out.
  2. The scene that includes the lyrics “Fuck the dime, I keep the mic in my hand cuz fuck them no understand.” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version both instances of “Fuck” are bleeped with a laugh sampled from earlier in the clip.
  3. The scene that includes the lyrics “Collateral damage, fuck you’re expendable” was edited with “Fuck” is bleeped out with the scene that includes the lyrics “Fuck that, collect capital, it stacks into stupid dough” was also edited “Fuck” is bleeped out.
  4. The scene that shows distorted, naked babies lying on assembly lines was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the entire lower half of the screen was blurred in order to obscure the genitals of the babies. Distorted crying and moaning sounds are also overdubbed in to make up for the lost visual information.
  5. The scene that shows a pizza delivery man sitting in his car was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the honda logo on the steering wheel is blurred out.
  6. The scene that shows a pizza delivery man looking at a delivery ticket was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the information on the ticket was blurred albeit reading: Harman Karoon, 8406 rimline st., ring bell with left pinky, (??0) 383-7043).
• Words
  1. The scene that shows a clip of “Girls night out” by Geoffery lillemon was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the woman’s breasts are covered up with stock photos of band-aids.
  2. The scene that shows one of the girls wiggling her tongue between two fingers was cut.

Season Seven

• Earth
  1. The scene that shows a sign reading “KFC next exit” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the sign had a smear effect inserted over it.
  2. The scene that shows a sign reading “Marlboro” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the sign had a smear effect inserted over it.
• Technology
  1. The scene that shows a sailor with a mermaid tattoo was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the mermaid’s nipples were blurred.

Season Eight

• Health
  1. The scene that shows a clip from Buttered Side Down’s “Getting fit” was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the music used in the original clip was replaced with stock music.
  2. The scene that shows the guy running along the highway and down a road was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the license plates were blurred.
• Love
  1. The scene that shows Kittykat96 scrolling down her comments page was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim Version all the frames that show somebody asking her to call them with visible, real phone numbers were removed.
  2. The scene that shows Kittykat96 clicking on her webcam was modified for the adult swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version some of the labels on the desktop such as Runescape, Limewire, Sony Vegas were digitally removed. The icons were kept in.
  3. The scene that shows Kittykat96 touching the egodeath.mov video was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the Windows blue screen of death that flashes up was cut out.
  4. The scene that shows Daniel Koren sitting on a park bench was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the title “Crazy Shit” was heavily stamp-tooled out.
  5. The scene that shows rain dripping down on concrete was replaced with stock footage of blue droplets hitting water.
  6. The scene that shows a black and white diver jumping into a pool was replaced with stock footage of some guy doing a flip into the ocean.
  7. The scene that shows a woman contorting was replaced with stock footage of a guy dropping his cell phone.
  8. The scene where Daniel Koren says “And they look like the kind of shit they find on mars” was edited with “Shit” bleeped out.
  9. The scene where Daniel Koren says “Alright, strawberries. Who came up with this shit?” was edited with “Shit” bleeped out.
  10. The scene that shows a forest fire was replaced with easier to obtain footage of a man spinning wire wool on fire.
  11. The scene that shows sperm swimming under a microscope was replaced with easier to obtain footage of different sperm swimming under a microscope.
  12. The closing credits was edited with "Crazy Shit" as "Crazy Sh!t".
• Sound
  1. The scene that shows a woman typing on her phone was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the URL “Friendsite.fun” was blurred out.

Season Nine

• Fashion
  1. The scene that shows a fashion designer sitting at his computer was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the URL “Plerk.cum” was changed to “Plerk.cv”
  2. The scene that shows the green man carrying out his credit card was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the VISA logo in the corner of the card was digitally removed.
• Trash
  1. The scene that shows music paper coming out of an odd bird box was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version a URL printed on the music paper was blurred out.
  2. The scene where Bambi says “Go Away, Jimmy! Fuck off, Jimmy!” was with “Fuck” bleeped ou.
• Patterns
  1. The scene that shows a man drawing on a piece of paper was modified for the Adult Swim broadcast. In the Adult Swim version the label on the wite-out bottle and the sharpie pens were pixelated.
