Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart is an American television series created by Parker Simmons for Cartoon Network. It premiered on July 1st, 2019. When the show premiered on Cartoon Network CEE and Cartoon Network RSEE, one of the episodes was banned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Central & Eastern European censorship[]

Episode 11[]

  • The scene where Badgerclops burps and then Ketchup says "He's so real!" was cut.

Episode 12[]

  • This episode was banned on Cartoon Network CEE due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later lifted and it premiered on November 2nd, 2020.
  • However, that episode was aired in Poland on March 25th, 2020.
  • The scene where Mao Mao coughs before the Badgerclops' line "No, stop!" was cut.

Episode 15[]

  • The scene where Pinky farts and then King Snugglemagne pushes him was removed.

Episode 20[]

  • The scene where Badgerclops burps was cut/edited.
  • The scene where Benny is run over by a car was cut.

Episode 21[]

  • The scene where Badgerclops eats the first doughnut was shortened.
  • However, that scene wasn't censored in the clip on CN Poland YouTube channel.[1]

  • The episode was censored from the line "Robo-Poindexter!" to the line "Ugh. Why you...".

  • The scene where Adorabat hits Ratarang against the pipe was shortened.
  • The line "Oh, marone" was cut.

  • The first long cut is from the scene where Orangusnake screams after a collision with a fan to the moment where Badgerclops says to Mao Mao "Dude, don't make me swaddle you" and puts him on the bed.
  • The lines "I'm gonna snap you in two!" and "I gotta get more casts!" were cut.
  • The Orangusnake's line "When I get out of here..." was cut.
  • The scene where Mao Mao gets closer to the remote control was removed.
