Left 4 Dead 2 is a horror video game that was developed by Valve and published by Valve. The video game is a sequel to Left 4 Dead and was released on November 17, 2009. In order to be released in Australia and Germany, the game had to be censored.

Australian censorship[]
- The game was banned in Australia due to "high-impact violence".
- A censored version would later be released in Australia that obtained the MA15+ rating.
- Blood splatters were reduced in size.
- Bodies disappear after they die, as a result there are no corpses on the floor after a person dies.
- The Riot Cop zombie was removed.
- The Bulletproof zombie was removed.
- Enemies no longer are set on fire and instead when a fire attack is used they simply die.
German censorship[]
- The Intro was made less violent with blood being removed, some zombies being removed, and gore being removed.
- Dismemberment is no longer possible.
- Blood textures on dead enemies were removed.
- Ragdoll effects were removed.
- Intestines can no longer fall out of zombies.
- Enemies no longer are set on fire and instead when a fire attack is used they simply die.
- Wounds on your character and allies were removed.
- When you get injured the screen no longer has any blood on it.
Where to find it uncensored[]
Every other country always had the game uncensored and Germany and Australia now have uncut DLC's you can buy.
