Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle is a stoner comedy film that was produced by Senator International and was distributed by New Line Cinema. The film was released on July 30, 2004. Most likely due to wanting to maintain lower ratings for the film worldwide several scenes of sexual nudity were cut. An unrated edition of the film was later released that readded these scenes. HBO Max only uses the R rated cut.
