G-Gundam is an Japanese anime made by TV Asahi, and it was released on April 22, 1994 and it ended on March 31, 1995. When Cartoon Network bought the rights to air the anime a number of scenes were censored due to the network's standards and due to the network wanting the show to have a TV-Y7-FV rating. As a result religious references and nudity was removed and violence was toned down.
- The Gundam names God Gundam and Devil Gundam were changed to Burning Gundam and Dark Gundam.
- Violence was toned down.
- Rain's chest and hips were digitally repainted black as a means of censorship during this scene for G Gundam's Toonami broadcast.
- Episode 29
- The scene that shows Natasha swimming was modified for the Cartoon Network broadcast. In the Cartoon Network version Natasha is wearing a bikini, in the uncensored version she is nude.
