Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (the European title is Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water) is a survival horror video game that was developed by Koei Tecmo and published by Nintendo (Wii U) and Koei Tecmo (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5). The video game was originally released on September 27, 2014.

Censorship[]

International censorship[]

When the game was released internationally, it was censored due to the outfits being deemed as too sexual. The outfits were replaced with a Zero Suit Samus and a Princess Zelda outfit for the international Wii U release. When re-released on new platforms worldwide, the censored version of the game was used.

  • The outfit Fukaba Gravure Swimsuit was removed.
  • The outfit Yuri Swimsuit was removed.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The Japanese Wii U version of the game is uncensored.
