Eyes Wide Shut is a erotic mystery psychological drama that was produced by Warner Brothers. The film was released on July 16, 1999. In order to avoid a NC-17 rating the film was censored for the US release. When DVD's came out the film was rereleased with a new Unrated cut that was the NC-17 cut. HBO Max only airs the R rated cut. Hindu groups in the UK protested about the inculsion of a verse from the Bhagvad Gita and sucessfully caused all versions of the film in the UK to be censored.

You can buy the unrated cut on DVD/Blu-Ray or on Amazon. Every other country has always had it uncensored. Streaming sites in the UK may offer the uncensored version.
