Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation is a JRPG that was developed by Chunsoft and punished by Enix. The video game was released on February 10, 1988. Religious elements were removed from North American release.

Censorship

USA Censorship

  • Crosses and Coffins were removed from the North American release.
  • Preists became healers with their crosses being removed.
  • In the Japanese version the player in one of the town's will meet a woman in the middle of the night who asks if you want a Puff Puff. If you select yes you will be invited into her home and the screen fades to black while the text says your MC is enjoying himself, once the lights come on though you see it was her Dad who was preforming the Puff Puff. In the North American release the woman is asking the player if he wants to know his fortune, once the lights turn to black the text says the MC is looking in a crystal ball which her father says he is the one operating the crystal ball.

Where to find it uncensored

The Japanese version is completely uncensored.
