Disney+

Disney+ is a content streaming service that launched on November 12, 2019. Content on Disney+ is streamed without ads.

Due to the policies on Disney+ content, some of its streaming content had to be edited from the original version; some used versions that have their content modified before Disney+. Its policy does not permit content higher than rated PG-13 or TV-14; more mature content belongs on the Hulu streaming service.

Censorship

Adventures in Babysitting

• The scene where Chris says “Don’t fuck with the babysitter!” was changed to “Don’t fool with the babysitter!”
• The scene where Brad says “Thor’s a homo.” was changed to “Thor’s a weirdo.”
• The scene where Sarah says “Don’t listen to him, he says you’re a homo.” was changed to “Don’t listen to him he says you’re a weirdo.”

Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin

• Racial slurs were removed.

Aladdin (1992)

• Three lines were censored in the movie, two of the edits already existed on DVD's. Those two edits were made due to people complaining about sexism and racism. The Disney+ version has additional censorship.

Clock Cleaners

• The movie is using a censored DVD edit that was made due to a parent complaining about characters swearing. (even though they don't swear)

Darby O’Gill and the Little People

• The scene where Darby O’Gill speaks with a racist accent was modified for the Disney+ release. In the Disney+ version, his accent is redubbed.

DuckTales (1987)

• Two episodes were banned for racism. The episodes are “Sphinx for the Memories” and Launchpad’s Civil War”.

Fantasia

• The movie uses the DVD edits, meaning a "racist scenes" were altered or removed.
• A warning plays before the movie starts.

Free Solo

• Profanity was removed.

Gargoyles

• Violence was toned down.

Goof Troop

• The episode “Goof Troop Christmas: Have Yourself a Goofy Little Christmas” was banned due to religious violence.

Hannah Montana

• ISIS was renamed Ice

Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD

• Violence was toned down.

Marvel's Inhumans

• Violence was toned down

Santa’s Workshop

• A warning now plays over the film and a number of "racist" scenes were removed.

Schoolhouse Rock

• The episode “Introduction” was banned for unknown reasons.
• The episode “Presidential Minute/The Campaign Trail” was banned for political reasons.
• The episode “The Greatest Show on Earth/The Weather Show” was banned for unknown reasons.
• Season 7 is missing.

Splash

• Nudity was censored.

Star Wars IV: A New Hope

• All edits shown on the Special Edition were used.
• The scene where Han shoots Greedo was modified for the Disney+ release. In the Disney+ version, Greedo says “Maclunkey”.

Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back

• All edits shown on the 70mm version were used.

The Adventures of Bullwhip Griffin

• All racial slurs were muted.

The Little Mermaid

• The scene where Eric is about to marry Ursula was modified for the Disney+ release. In the Disney+ version, the priest’s knee was digitally removed.

The Mickey Mouse Club

• Only 5 episodes are available

The Muppet Christmas Carol

• Body Benson’s cigarette was removed.

The Rescuers

• Nudity was removed from the film.

The Simpsons

• The episode “Stark Raving Dad” was banned due to child sexual abuse accusations towards Michael Jackson.
• In the episode “Sunday, Cruddy Sunday”, the scene where the Super Bowl commercial narrator says “The Catholic Church...” was changed to “The church...”
• In the episode “Gorgeous Grampa”, the Homer Shake couch gag was cut, along with the whole opening theme song, except for the cloud at the start.

The Three Little Pigs

• Jewish stereotypes were removed and a content warnings plays before the movie starts.

The Sword in the Stone

• One of the lines in the movie was altered.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

• Nudity was removed from the film.
