Diamonds Are Forever is an American spy movie that was made by United Artists, and it was released on December 14, 1971. It was targeting a PG rating in the UK, as a result sexuality was toned down and strong language was removed.

  • The scene where Bond tears off a woman's bikini and chokes her with it was cut.
  • The aggressive use of the word bitch was removed.
  • The negative stereotype of a gay character was removed.

USA Censorship[]

ABC[]

  • The scene that shows Plenty's bare back was modified for the ABC broadcast. In the ABC version Plenty is wearing a bra.

Where to find it uncensored[]

The DVDs are completely uncensored and the American theatrical cut was completely uncensored.
