Dawn for Dead is a action horror movie that was produced by Strike Entertainment and New Amsterdam Entertainment and it was distributed by Universal Pictures. The film was released on March 19, 2004. Some scenes were cut for the theatrical release. A uncensored unrated edition would later come out but it was censored in America.

- The scene that shows Ana driving past the exploding gas station was modified for the American release. In the American versions of the unrated edition the topless woman's breasts are covered up by having the car windows covered in blood.
