Germany Censorship[]

  • Nazi symbols (swastikas) were changed to Iron Crosses. (though in some cases they were not replaced with anything.)
  • A poster showing Hitler was changed to a poster showing a young German officer.
  • The scene where Viktor Durasov says "Do not count days, do not count miles, count only the numbers of Germans you have Killed. Kill the German. This is your mother's prayer. Kill the German. This is the cry of your mother earth. Do not waver! Do not let up! Kill! Death to the German invader!" In the German version the word "kill" was changed to "defeat"
  • The live action war videos were all censored often showing troops and tanks rather then officers or plans.
