American Dad!

American Dad is a American Cartoon that was made by Fox. American Dad was released in February 6, 2005. The show latter was bought by TBS, seasons 1-11 were made by Fox while seasons 12 onward were made by TBS. Due to Network standards strong language is bleeped out and some scenes were cut due to time constraints.

1. The episode was temporarily banned from Adult Swim in 2020 due to the first part of the episode being about The Smiths being put in quarantine, being possibly too sensitive to air during the COVID-19 pandemic. The episode was brought back later in the year.

• Episode 4 (Francine's Flashback)

1. The scene where Stan brings in Whitney Houston to sing a private apology performance for some cocaine was removed in airings following Houston's death (though the scene was eventually reinstated later).

• Episode 23 (Tears of a Clooney)

1. The scene where Francine says "What is this about? Just look at that fucker with cucumbers on his eyes! Not a care in the world", and "Wait! Future senator!? I will fucking chop his head in two!", the words "fucker" & "fucking" where bleeped on the TV Version.

4. The scene that shows Old Steve's pubic hair was modified for the Fox broadcast. In the Fox version the hair was digitally removed.

• Episode 6 (Pulling Double Booty)

3. The ending to this episode, where Hayley takes a matchbook and sets fire to a forest after realizing Stan tricked her by pretending to be his body double, Bill, was cut from the episode's premiere showings on FOX and Adult Swim due to a large wildfire in Southern California that occurred shortly before it aired (making the episode end with Hayley yelling, "Oh my God! Are you KIDDING ME?!"). The ending is restored on most reruns, international airings and on DVDs.

1. The scene where Roger said "How do you masterbate?" The word "masterbate" was bleeped out.

6. The scene that shows the criminal's legs being cut in half witch results in him falling modified for the Fox broadcast. In the Fox version the shot was reduced in size, as a result you no longer see the man cut in half in the background. The scene was shortened for the Fox broadcast.
7. The scene that shows a close up on Toshi's sword cutting the criminals neck was repaced with a shot of the ground.
8. The scene that shows the criminal's head and leg's detached from the rest of the body was modified for the Fox broadcast. In the Fox version the shot was reduced in size, as a result you no longer see the man cut in half in the background.

Where to find it uncensored

The DVD's are completely uncensored (though the Volume 10 DVD is sadly still censored), the Adult Swim/TBS versions are less censored.
